Two things: Thank you for the very informative newsletters…I’ve learned a lot.

Other than self-isolate, is there anything else someone (me) on Ocrevus can do if infected with Covid-19? Medications while at home, etc?

YES! When i was hospitalized the month BEFORE the COVID-19 pandemic began sweeping across the world for pneumonia in Feb 2020, I was given a pulse/oximeter monitor and taught how to use it and read it. my pulmonologist came in and made sure I understood when to call him and when to call for an ambulance.. This was the 9th time i had been hospitalized with pneumonia so I wasn't a stranger to this but this was the first time i was offered a monitor to use and explained to me when my O2 stats were too low.. I check them daily now and when i feel short of breath especially when i have those "oh so lovely MS hugs" and I have trouble breathing. I do live alone and it does scare me when I can't breathe due to so much pain in my ribs like that

Hi could you please give an update on all of the treatments which are available now or on the brink of being available to treat covid please

I remember you saying once that everyone (with few exceptions) will get SARS-Cov-2 because we have no immunity to it as a society. This seems to be being borne out by the stats, as even vaccinated people can and do get it, if more mildly.

In the case of people living alone they seem much more at risk of not being able to assess their condition as they enter hypoxia. What can people who are becoming so do? They aren't likely to be as able to make good decisions. 111 is perennially slow. Would you recommend people just ring 999 and bypass 111? It doesn't help that the ambulance service is in crisis, so we've planned that if one has a crisis of any kind currently, the other will drive the 30km to the hospital and hope to get the other one admitted.

5 days in hospital and THEN they put her on Regeneron, after you having to say she should be on it? God help the rest of us on ocrevus then who would qualify but probably won't get it.

We should all get the vaxx. Pro-vax, anti-mandate. EVERYONE WILL EVENTUALLY GET COVID per CDC. It will be endemic.

Thanks Gavin, I just broke up with my partner of 10 years also (I think MS contributed to my mind set), and living alone now. This kinda hits home. I do worry about myself and covid, and I have got one of those little machines. Good to know re: ronapreve.

I am also ocrevus and contracted covid-19. I had my triple vaccine just prior to developing the illness and feel that is the reason I did not develop severe disease and am now almost recovered.

I am due my next infusion however I now concerned that I will.lose my antibody protection for covid due the immunosuppression of ocrevus. Can you confirm if this is the case?

With time antibody titres wane and susceptibility to reinfection emerges. This happens in everyone and is more prominent in the elderly and those on immunosuppressive therapy. I wouldn't worry now that we treatments are emerging for COVID-19. It is more important to treat your MS than worry about your immunity to SARS-COV-2 now that you have had it.

Thank you for that. Very reassuring
