Well... God bless this guy, even though he might be a little off his nutter!
It's not so much just a suspension of disbelief, but it's also a certain amount of courage in the face of obvious unfavorable odds and much difficulty, as well as probable obstacles and disappointment, to be able to take on such an endeavor, and with such zeal. Forgetting anything about money, I just want you to make it just to show it can be done, and for your own satisfaction to know that you did it yourself. Godspeed, sir!
Go Dom go!! I highly recommend donating to this great cause and then following RC4MS on social media - the updates are really fun and inspiring. He's already on his 3rd province and it's fun to be a part of the journey which depicts real life setbacks.
Don't talk him down - encourage him instead! It's very discouraging when usually supportive people and organisations question your ambition and desire to do something positive or challenging. He knows what he's up against and risks he is taking. I will watch his progress with interest - after sponsoring him - and as others have said, his action is inspiring and a reminder and encouragement to get active.
Great post I didn’t know he had started this , it was dom who told me to get in touch with yourself when I didn’t know where to turn when I felt I wasn’t being offered the right dmt , I’ll be catching up with him on YouTube and donating
No he's not crazy lol. He's determined. One of the most determined people I know. He's kind too. Really helped me think through my initial diagnosis. And his methods make sense. I too think they're active I am and the more I ouch myself and eat in a healthy way the slower m disability progresses. And I know you're a proponent of HIIT training Dr. G!
It's needs someone attempting to do something a bit bonkers to give us disabled but sane folks hope. There is no way I could cycle 8K km but knowing his plan is so inspiring. You can do it Dom
The "warrior" mentality, the pull it off with power from lifestyle change, courage in the face of unbelievable odds and adversity, god's speed, unbelievable accomplishment, an incredible feat, epic, no-excuse inspiration! We should all work as hard against our limitations. (Yawn). I've seen this story before.
Granted, being 200 lbs would not be favorable to a long bike ride, and life style changes (some) are favorable for everyone (there are none I am aware of favorable only to those with MS), I'll be the first to say (but not think) "so what?". It's a nice thing to do. I'm sure it beats sitting in front of the TV, depending on what you are watching. I've walked long distances searching for a car to buy. I've slept outdoors when I left home. Nothing spectacular there. There are other ways to get donations. Not terribly impressed but it certainly will be inconvenient.
I'm already telling my friends and family. I will support you. You inspire - I salute you!! I will also 'Do' something instead of making excuses. You make me smile! Go Dom! Go!
What a lovely post to get! Thanks for the info, Prof. Inspiring stuff that’ll get me on my bike tomorrow for sure.

You said it all, Christopher!! Go Dom! 😊
Dom, you have this WARRIOR BROTHER!
All the power to you. Those of us who couldn't pull this off even w/o MS are living vicariously through you.
STAY STRONG❣️

GO DOM
An overused term for sure, but Dom is inspiring and am really hoping he achieves this incredible feat!

“Tried to talk him down” 🤣🤣🤣.
I’ve been following him on Insta and it’s an epic adventure to take on. No backup team, camping along the way and everything else!
Good man Dom.
Wow. That is shockingly ambitious. Godspeed!
Donated to this remarkable man! Thanks Professor G for helping publicize his efforts.
